These GOAT Tourney Terms govern your use of the GOAT Tourney app (the "app"). When we speak of "we", "us", "our", and "GOAT Tourney", we mean Garg Optimization and Advanced Technologies LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company trading as GOAT Tourney. These terms are incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service; where the two differ with respect to the app, these terms control. By tapping "I Agree", you accept these terms.

Effective date
August 12, 2026.

GOAT Tourney is a free app for viewing the schedules and standings of events run on our platform. Anyone can browse; signing in with your email lets you follow teams for notifications and, if your email is associated with a team or with running an event, enter game scores.

Age
You must be at least 13 years old to sign in to the app. Score entry is intended for the adults associated with a team (coach, manager, enroller) or with running the event.

Scores you enter
Score entries are recorded under your verified email address and are visible to the event's officials and to our staff. Enter scores only for games you are authorized for, and only as they were actually played. Entering false scores, or otherwise misusing score entry, can result in your entries being corrected or removed and your access to the app being revoked.

Notifications
Game reminders, score alerts, and schedule-change alerts are delivered on a best-efforts basis and can occasionally be delayed or missed — always confirm important details (like a game's start time and location) with your team or the event.

Data and privacy
The information we collect through the app and how we handle it are described in our Privacy Policy. For the app this is your email address, the teams you follow, your notification settings, and any scores you enter.

Liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, GOAT Tourney is liable only for its breaches of these terms. GOAT Tourney is not liable for:
  • Loss of profits, revenues, business opportunities, goodwill, or anticipated savings
  • Indirect or consequential losses
  • Punitive damages
GOAT Tourney's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the fees paid by you to use our service in the 12 months before the dispute. New Jersey law will govern all disputes related to or arising out of these terms.

Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under this contract if such failure or delay is due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, governmental actions, or any other force majeure event. In the event of a force majeure event that prevents either party from fulfilling its obligations under this agreement, the affected party shall promptly notify the other party in writing and provide details of the force majeure event's impact on its performance. During the force majeure event, the affected party's obligations under this contract shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, and the timeframe for performance shall be extended for a period equal to the duration of the force majeure event. If the force majeure event continues for an extended period, either party may terminate this contract upon written notice to the other party, without incurring any liability or penalty. The party invoking force majeure shall use all reasonable efforts to mitigate the effects of the force majeure event and resume its performance under this contract as soon as practicable after the force majeure event has ceased.

About these terms
These terms describe the relationship between you and GOAT Tourney. They don't create any legal rights for other people or organizations, even if others benefit from that relationship under these terms. If any particular term in this agreement is not valid or enforceable, that will not affect any other terms.
